Please make sure that the pump has a threaded 1-1/2" hoses. If not, you need an (1-1/4" to 1-1/2") adapter for 1-1/4" hoses. A flat 4" x 4" area on the side of your stock tank which is free of ribs is also required to fit this threaded inlet strainer
